I wish I had something to share with you. But at this time I've got NADA my kitty has not come home. I refuse to think something has happened to him, so I visit the local animal control place every 3 days. It takes a lot out of me seeing all the cats and dogs in cages. So many animals get put down because they don't have homes. It's heart breaking. My theory is that someone found my cat and has taken him in, and will not return him. It's better than the alternative.

Summer seems to take a lot out of me, there's not really much time to kick back and the heat is something awful. When I'm home I just want to stick myself in a cold shower and stay there... I'm sure you know what I mean though.

So, my decision is to place Cliques on a short Summer Hiatus. During that time you will still be able to collect cards... (will explain that) and send in masters/level up forms. I will try to keep the forums active with freebies as well. I encourage you to trade with one another. Most of the members here seem to be slacking this time around too... summer gets to us.

In the event of the hiatus, each week we are on a break you may take 8 cards from the Randomizer. You have to comment each week though so I know what everyone is getting.

I need to apologize for this too, it wasn't in the cards but it seems lots of people are missing lately. I suppose after vacation people will come flocking back to the tcg world.

I estimate that the hiatus will go for 4-6 weeks. So you may all start taking your weekly cards now, and take every sunday hereforth until the end of the break. Have an excellent summer everyone.

News, just news. I know you're expecting more but it's been so hot here that I haven't felt like being on the computer. It's boiling. With no a/c or c/a this summer I bet I'm gonna be cooking my tush off. But I'll find an update for you soon.

If you didn't realize, the 21st was my b-day. Not that it was important because I really didn't do anything since I hurt myself a while ago and have been in pain. So I took a trip to the doctors instead the day after and was treated to an x-ray and some blood work. Yippie Right? That's always fun. But seriously, I'm fine now (fingers crossed) and have to go for more blood work in 2 weeks since the doctor noticed something in the test results and will need to check again soon. God, vampires!!! But since it was my birthday, you can all treat yourself to some cards from E M M A ' S as well as cards from B I R T H D A Y. This should make up for my tardiness.

Now, the news EVERYONE is talking about... Michael Jackson. I was watching a comedy show and switched to the news to check out the weather forecast and saw a picture of Farrah Fawcett, and automatically assumed she had passed since I knew she was sick... then I went out for a couple hours and as I was walking up the street to my cell phone buzzed and there was a txt message "Michael Jackson... dead at 50." Automatically I kinda assumed it was a hoax or a fake. So I turned on the tv when I got in and sure enough there was the news. I was so dumbfounded I believe I asked the tv newscaster "are you serious?" but of course she didn't answer me directly. *giggle*

Some of you may not be fans, but for me... I wasn't so much a fan of him, as I was his music. I grew up to songs like Thriller and Billie Jean. And have all his cd's and a couple of old 45s. I'm shocked. I guess a lot of people assumed we'd have to see him gracing the tabloids for another 20 or 30 years. It's sad. His music, his moonwalk and his single studded glove will be missed for years and years to come. It's just shocking, just like when Elvis died. Another icon gone too soon.

Well, I was hoping to post some good-news but however my kitty kitty has still not returned home. I'm going out tomorrow to put up flyers, and am offering a reward now cause I'm desperately worried about him. So, hopefully someone will take notice.

I had those photoshoot sets I mentioned remade, so they look a lot better now. So I can give them away I suppose.
